We have a few recommendations for places in town where our guests will find a special welcome (and special pricing!):
If you need to update your ski gear – clothing and equipment – or need to rent equipment then Sandro Vidi of Olimpionico Sport can help you out with his vast experience from being a longtime alpine guide. This historic shop in the center of town has all the latest in winter sports equipment and clothing;
If you need a ski guide or ski school we suggest the Scuola Sci 5 Laghi with over 40 certified instructors ready to teach skiing, snowboarding, telemarking and freeriding to all ages;
A walk about Madonna di Campiglio will take you to Giorgio Cozzio’s woodworking shop called Campiglio Legno. Go in and have a look at the interesting variety of objects: sculpture, decorative crafts, cutting boards, bowls as well as handmade pottery;
For a real Trentino meal, we suggest a visit to Malga Mondifrà, a local eatery where many of the regional dishes are produced with local ingredients from the owner’s farm. Meat and cheese are available for purchase. For info and reservations call Walter at 338 1344386 .
If you’re looking for a good pizza or a hot plate of pasta, you cannot go wrong with Ristorante Belvedere. Centrally located right outside the from door of Villa Principe, this restaurant is good for a quick meal and has a variety of Trentino and Tyrolean dishes.
For a more sophisticated dinner with a choice of local fare, the Cantina del Suisse is the right choice where your host, Emilio, will welcome you in one of the town’s oldest establishments. In a characteristic and colorful atmosphere you can listen to live music every evening after 10pm.
